Water Damage Restoration
Groundwater & Basement Water Intrusion
The lowest point in the house is usually the most finished. That combination is what makes below-grade water the most expensive square footage on the estimate.
Available through independent local providers in 57 cities across 1 states.
Every figure is written on site, after the readings - never over the phone.
What it is
Water entering below grade - through a slab joint, a foundation crack, a window well or a failed sump - in a corridor where finished basements are common and are the lowest point water can reach.
When it is needed
When a basement takes water during runoff, after a heavy storm week, or whenever a sump stops keeping up. Recurrence is the signature: a one-off event and a seasonal pattern price differently and are often read differently by a policy.
What it typically involves
Extraction, removal of pad and any saturated porous material at the base of walls, and drying of the slab and lower framing. Because finished basements carry carpet, drywall and trim right down to the floor, the removal share of the estimate is typically higher here than anywhere else in the house.
